What does BAROKE mean?
Baroke is made up of the words ‘broke’ and ‘baroque.’ These two words have nothing to do with each other, but somehow these two words have dictated our perspective and vision for our clothing line. Baroque is indeed the art period during the high Renaissance, where intellect was combined with artistry. Its also Randy and Dan’s favorite art period (if you would like further explanation, please email them) With the idea of broke, we do not just mean it in a financial sense, but we do believe that everyone goes through a state of brokenness in their lives. With our designs, we want to evoke a sense of simplistic happiness that strays away from the complexities of life.
