VANCOUVER!

Hey all.

I'm finally back from my vacay in the west coast and I must say that it feels good to be back. There is nothing like driving in miles and filling up gas by gallons. For those of you who just chimed in, I went to Seattle, Vancouver (B.C.), and Portland last week. And here is what I did...

First off, I got to drive around in this bad boy:

After picking up the car, I headed out to Vancouver. I scored a sickk hotel in the downtown area near Coal Harbour overlooking the ocean, well sort of. The room was unfortunately not high enough so I got screwed over by that black building in the top right corner if you can see in the picture below. It totally killed the view.

Other than the lame building that blocked the view the stay was excellent. Yes, thank you Priceline! I have officially converted to a 4star hotel guy from now on! They even had towels, like REAL towels, in their public washroom. I have never felt so pampered in my life. If you ever go out to Vancouver I highly recommend this hotel.

So while I was out there I went to a few places. First was Coal Harbour

Then to Cypress Mountain

Capilano Suspension Bridge

The Aberdeen. An entire Mall filled with Asian stores.

Where we got some Beard Papas, a Japanese cream puff chain. We waited a good 40 minutes for these bad boys.

Went to the Granville Island Market.

We drove down the sea to sky highway.

And Stopped by Squamish where we went to a viewpoint to see bald eagles. Can you spot it?

While we were in Squamish we stopped by Shannon Falls

Then to Whistler.

Last but not least, we stop by Porteau Cove.

We walked onto the shore not knowing that it was low tide and snapped this bad boy.

Then turned around and realized we were stuck.

Alright, this was just what I did in Vancouver. I will post up Portland and Seattle soon. Stay tuned!
